Sponsorship

The purpose of the Rare Poultry Breeders’ Association is to promote rare breeds and rare colour varieties of pure-bred domestic poultry. For many years our club has provided a sponsorship pack to clubs who have sought sponsorship for a rare breeds section of their annual show. If your poultry club would like the Rare Poultry Breeders’ Association to assist with sponsorship of your show, please submit your request for a sponsorship pack to [email protected]
 
Your request will be considered by the committee of our club, and a response will be returned at the earliest possible convenience. Please be aware conditions apply, see below. Any individual, club or organisation applying for a sponsorship pack will be considered for one sponsorship pack only in a calendar year.
 
The sponsorship pack contains the following:
 
1 bi-coloured ribbon for Champion Rare Breed in Show
1 bi-coloured ribbon for Reserve Champion Rare Breed in Show
1 membership voucher to the Rare Poultry Breeders Association
 
The membership voucher offers free membership from the date of your show until the 30th of June the following year and will only become active when the winner of the award forwards the completed sponsored membership form
​to our club secretary. Please note, the membership voucher can only be used by the winner and cannot be transferred to another person.
 
The sponsorship pack is offered with the following conditions:
 
Once your show has concluded, you are to provide the Rare Poultry Breeders’ Association with the names of the exhibitors who won both awards, along with a photo of both winning exhibits. The photo must clearly show the winning birds, either on their own or being held by their exhibitor. This information should be forwarded to the above email address. Failure to fulfill this obligation will render your club ineligible for future sponsorship.
